WHAT IS IT?

…An auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, organized to develop and to maintain a greater mission consciousness among the women of the Synod.

WHO IS IT?

…A women’s organization within a congregation of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod is the unit of membership. Any woman who is a member of the congregation is eligible for membership in the unit.

WHY IS IT?

…To help women of the church grow spiritually
MISSION INSPIRATION:
…To equip them to reach out in love to others
MISSION EDUCATION:
…To provide opportunities for helping others
MISSION SERVICE:
…To gather funds for mission projects.

WHAT IS ITS MOTTO?

…”Serve the Lord with Gladness”, selected in 1943 from Psalm 100:2.

The “Women of Grace” strive to serve in mission work locally and through the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

We assist Grace Lutheran Church:

Making baptismal banners

We offer Christian growth to our members

Devotions at meetings
Informative speakers
Lutheran Women’s Quarterly Subscriptions
Encouraging attendance at LWML prayer services, rallies and conventions

We work with Human Care to provide:

Food baskets and clothing needs
Christmas gifts for needy families

We provide hospitality for:

Our Christmas party and our monthly brunches

Meetings are usually held at Grace Lutheran Church, on the second Monday of the month. They begin at 10:00 a.m. and are over by 12:00 p.m.  There are no regular meetings in June, July, or August.  Annual dues are $16.00.  (Includes zone and district dues, magazine subscription.)

NOTE: WE WILL NOT MEET DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS.
