KATIE’S GARDEN

Katie’s Garden

Katie’s Garden:

The inspiration for the garden at Grace comes from Martin Luther’s wife, Katharina. Katie’s dynamic views were family centered, leading her to work extensively in the garden and with their livestock to feed their family, Martin’s students who often stayed with them, and friends and neighbors. Katie was focused on the physical needs of those in her community while Martin attended to the spiritual.  Like Martin and Katie Luther, Grace Lutheran Church wishes to attend to the physical and spiritual wellbeing of the community it serves.

What we grow:

Katie’s garden provides a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Some of which include:

Tomatoes
Peppers
Green beans
Cucumbers
Zucchini
Squash
And more…

Hours:

The produce items will be available on Saturday mornings 8-10AM during the growing season.
